The Pathetic State of Capital Punishment.

This is pathetic, we can’t seem to kill anyone in this state (California). I am not surprised this happened, our state is so screwed up, so liberal, so sad. Now, let me say, I’m not really in favor of the death penalty, but when a state can’t administer a punishment, some 20 years after the crime, why should we have capital punishment?
I say until people get guillotined right after the trial, we should end all capital punishment in this country. It just doesn’t make any sense.
SAN QUENTIN, CALIF. - The state on Tuesday postponed indefinitely the execution of a condemned killer amid a court battle over the state’s method of injection and the role doctors may play in the death chamber. - Chron.com
I agree. The excuse for the long time on death row is lack of lawyers! Perhaps something could be done about THAT within the legal community if someone had some backbone. Perhaps the salaries of the attorneys should be taxed to cover the cost of maintaining death row inmates (especially all the health care and high-speed cable connection expenses). That could expedite unclogging the system. Instead of chasing ambulances there could be more interest in representing convicts within the system.
