ABC’s Lost and some safe assumptions

1. There obviously at one point or another was a science experiment conducted on the island

2. Any member of the plane crash who has a back story can not be an other.

3. There is something mystical about the island…the numbers are proof of this, as well as Walt’s ability to create things like polars and birds

That’s about it. I’m not sure that the plane crash was real. The others are obviously kind of fake since they have access to drugs and fake beards, but who knows what that’s about, because they are bad too since Alex had to “save” Clair. Fact is, they have this whole thing planned out through season 7, and we’re in the middle of 2. It would be silly to think that we could fully understand their situation this early in the game.
