The Democratic National Party is Pathetic

Written by jon on April 2, 2008 – 7:22 pm

I can’t believe what a racket the Democratic National Party is. Not only are they the most “elite-pompous-asses on the planet”(save the English Crown), they don’t care about their own base. Is it just me, or was their pathetic power-play to exile two whole states from voting for the President of the United States about the most transparent power mongering ever. Why would the biggest goof of a leader, Howard Dean, actually think that he could disenfranchising his own party? That is worse than hanging chads. At least, the guy is willing to put Florida back in play, but only at the approval of the two candidates.

I Honestly, Truly, feel sorry for those blue collar Democrats that have to be led by such Asses.

Iraq Military Deaths- not so bad

Written by Scott on March 26, 2008 – 10:24 am

I saw this post on snops.com- Military Deaths. And while I am beginning to notice an liberal bias in the writing on snopes in terms of their explanations- especially in dealing with Obama, the fact is they do provide stable facts to look at.

This is the latest tidbit I saw on military deaths.

Year President Deaths Total during presidency
1980 Jimmy Carter 2,392
N/A
1981 Ronald Reagan 2,380
1982 Ronald Reagan 2,319
1983 Ronald Reagan 2,465
1984 Ronald Reagan 1,999
1985 Ronald Reagan 2,252
1986 Ronald Reagan 1,984
1987 Ronald Reagan 1,983
1988 Ronald Reagan 1,819
17,201
1989 George H.W. Bush 1,636
1990 George H.W. Bush 1,507
1991 George H.W. Bush 1,787
1992 George H.W. Bush 1,293
6,223
1993 Bill Clinton 1,213
1994 Bill Clinton 1,075
1995 Bill Clinton 1,040
1996 Bill Clinton 974
1997 Bill Clinton 817
1998 Bill Clinton 827
1999 Bill Clinton 796
2000 Bill Clinton 758
7,500
2001 George W. Bush 891
2002 George W. Bush 999
2003 George W. Bush 1,228
2004 George W. Bush 1,874
2005 George W. Bush 1,942
2006 George W. Bush 1,858
8,792

So what do I find interesting about this?

The fact is, liberals have been giving crap about how terrible the Iraq war is. How many soldiers have died.  But when looking at the numbers, you can see how bad it actually is, or isn’t (relatively speaking).  During Clintons presidency, whose only form of ground combat included pulling out of Somalia, has a total of 7,500 in eight years.  Now compare this to the presidency of George W. Bush, who has been involved in two ground wars that have been going on for the majority of his presidency.  The grand total of military deaths is 8,792 in six years.  Lets be fair and add the deaths of 2007 and 2008 according to Snopes.  In 2007, the war deaths in the wars were 1,014.  So far the know deaths in 2008 is 100 at the end of March.  Multiply that number to give an estimate for the whole year, we get 400 deaths in 2008.  While this number is most likely going to be lower than the true number, we will work with what we got.

The estimated grand total deaths for W, will be 10,206.  Lets compare this number to Clinton. 10,206 compared to 7,500 shows that the amount of military deaths during Clinton’s reign is  about a 73% the amount  of W Bush’s reign.  While that is a lot, you need to realize that Clinton’s deaths happened in PEACE TIME, whereas Bush’s deaths happened in a time of MULTIPLE WARS.  Its not too shabby for W Bush.

When looking at the table, we can see the Bush senior had 6,223 in four years- if it was eight years it would be estimated at 12,446- that is 2,000 more deaths than W, during peace time (minus the 1st Iraq ass kicking), yet Bush senior never got any crap for it.  During Regan’s legacy there were 17,201 deaths, a huge amount of military deaths.  Granted Regan was noted for constantly kicking crap and being a badass, his presidency was not known for being in a continuous combat war (the cold war doesn’t count).  The point I’m making again?  Reagan didn’t get crap.

Carter had over 2000 deaths in one year, he was a freaking PACIFIST do nothing, yet he had more military deaths in one year than any one-year-totals for W Bush.  HE GETS NO CRAP!

Lets compare the American casualties of the Iraq war to other wars according to Wikipedia. 116,708 in the one year the US fought in WW1.  416,800 in the four years the US was involved in WW2. And the over 400,000 dead in the Korean War. 58,217 in the six years of Vietnam. At 4000 in the five years of the Iraq war, things don’t look so bad.

Bush has done a lot of things I don’t agree with.  The boarders and the lack of spending control come to mind.  But one thing that I think is not a blunder of his is the Iraq War.  I may be going against the fray, but I don’t really care what popular opinion is, I look at the numbers.

Another reason our system is screwed, “Wrongful Death Lawsuits”

Written by jon on March 4, 2008 – 2:00 pm

http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/03/04/ritter.trial.ap/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

“His family is suing Lee and a radiologist, Dr. Matthew Lotysch, who did a body scan on Ritter two years earlier, for $67 million. The current lawsuit follows settlements with the hospital and eight other medical personnel for about $14 million”

I like John Ritter, he was funny, but his death and wife’s lawsuit are no laughing matter.  I think the whole system is broken, and his wrongful death lawsuit is a perfect example.

John Ritter had plenty of money, he probably had a great life insurance policy, and his greedy wife needs more.  So he died, in the care of a doctor, that had known him for literally minutes of his life. The first question that needs to be asked, are doctors “God”? NO.  Do doctors like to fail when helping people, or better yet, like to kill people? No and No.  Should a doctor, and the health care system be responsible for the deaths of all people? No.

So why then, should minutes of a persons life, be 100% the responsibility of the health care system?  Why should the broken system have to pay $67 Million dollars to the widow of John Ritter?  Is that fair? NO.  Is John life more valuable than the rest of ours? No. Is it more valuable than a soldiers? No.

WHY then do ”WE” accept these greedy lawyers, the greedy clients, and the outrageous lawsuits to be legal and just in our society?

Obama the Communist Revolutionary

Written by Scott on February 22, 2008 – 12:33 pm

I saw this on a myspace post.  I don’t know if my friend is the actual author or where it came from.  But none-the-less, its an intresting outlook on Obama.  Something, that doesnt surprise me, but I’ll talk about that later.

Information about what Barack Hussein Obama actually stands for, besides “hope” and “change,” isn’t easy to come by, since he speaks in vacuous platitudes and doesn’t have enough experience to have left behind a record. But the clues are out there.

In his autobiographical Dreams from My Father, Obama writes of a father figure named Frank who apparently influenced him profoundly with his “hard-earned knowledge.” He acknowledges the words of wisdom “Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self” shared with him before he set off for college. This advice included not to “start believing what they tell you about equal opportunity and the American way and all that ****.”

This Frank guy in the Black Power dashiki is Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party USA, which received subsidies from the Soviet Union to advance its goal of destroying America from within.

Davis wasn’t Obama’s last contact with the radical Left:

Obama became a “community organizer” and came into contact with more far-left political forces, including the Democratic Socialists of America, which maintains close ties to European socialist groups and parties through the Socialist International (SI), and two former members of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), William Ayers and Carl Davidson.

The SDS laid siege to college campuses across America in the 1960s, mostly in order to protest the Vietnam War, and spawned the terrorist Weather Underground organization. Ayers was a member of the terrorist group and turned himself in to authorities in 1981. He is now a college professor and served with Obama on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago. Davidson is now a figure in the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, an offshoot of the old Moscow-controlled CPUSA, and helped organize the 2002 rally where Obama came out against the Iraq War.

Given the circles Obama moves in, it’s hardly reasonable to expect his wife to be proud of America.

A radical on a communist website appraises Obama’s first primary victory:

Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary “mole,” not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through.

If by some tragic lapse of national judgment Obama were to end up the White House, the Soviet Union would achieve its greatest Cold War victory nearly 20 years after its demise. But as with other mortal diseases, it doesn’t matter if the host dies — so long as socialism can find a new host to invade.”

Saddam asks to dye by firing squad

Written by Jon on July 26, 2006 – 11:39 pm

Atleast someone is making sense these days,

BAGHDAD — A thinner but combative Saddam Hussein said yesterday he would rather die by firing squad like a soldier than hang “like a common criminal,” as the defiant ex-president made his final appearance before the tribunal until it renders a verdict. - The Washington Times

Al Jazeera in English

Written by Scott on July 19, 2006 – 1:31 pm

Ever wonder what they really talk about on Al Jazeera?  Well I came accross a site that translates it for you. Memritv.org aka the Middle East Media Research Institute. It’s fair to say, they hate us westerners, especially us Americans.  Here are two videos that show an Arab American arguing with Al Jazeera about why they want to kill.  There are also videos of clearics telling kids to be terrorists and such.  It is clear that they dont want to kill us because we are encroaching on them, they want to kill us because we are infidels.

Illegal Immigration Boycott - It’s Time America Stands Up

Written by Scott on May 1, 2006 – 11:41 am

Today is the day that all the Illegal Aliens in America are going to boycott work in an attempt to display their importance to the American economy. While I doubt that it will hurt our economy, unless it turns into a riot, I am writing this because I am tired of being quite and letting criminals tell us how to run our country. I encourage you to take 5 minutes out of your day to also write to your senators and representative, you can simply copy and paste this message into an email. If you don’t know their email, here is a link to a Congressional Email Directory.

Dear Senator/Congressman,

I am an American, I vote. Right now, there are millions of people who snuck into our country and are demanding we pander to them. They do not pay taxes, they do not want to be a part of American culture and they funnel our money into Mexico. Yet they want the same benefits that Americans receive. They form gangs, make up a huge percentage of federal inmates, and have been transforming the south into an enormous barrio. They leave Mexico because it is so horrible, yet they wave Mexican flags at their protests. They even have the gull to change our National Anthem to incorporate themselves.

I have grown tired of this situation. Two thirds of the 12 million illegal immigrants have arrived here in the past ten years. Yet, Instead of building a wall, there are now discussions of allowing amnesty. I will not support amnesty of any kind. I do not believe in rewarding the criminals who have been breaking the law the longest. As for worker permits, I believe we already have a guest-worker program called “green cards”. I am in support of legal Immigration and I am in support of enforcing the laws that have not been enforced; the laws that American citizens, like the minute men, are forced to enforce because our government is too impotent, even in these post-9-11 days. Therefore, I will make a deal with you. Unlike these illegal immigrants, I vote. I will monitor your voting record. If you vote for any amnesty legislation, of any kind, you will lose my support and you will never receive another vote from me ever again.

Thank you for your time,
An American Citizen

They are not Immigrants, they are Illegal Aliens

Written by Scott on April 11, 2006 – 11:43 am

Illegal Alien CrossingI was watching the news last night when I saw a story on the many demonstrations being held by illegal aliens through out the nation. After the initial thought: “There they all are, why aren’t the police arresting them?” I went on to think: “Why aren’t we protesting them?” It might be because we work… (That was a joke) But seriously why aren’t we protesting illegal aliens? You may have heard all the pro-illegal rhetoric on the news, like: (insert Mexican accent) “I just want help my family. Why is that illegal?” “We make the economy run, we do the jobs no one else will do.” and “America was founded on Immigration.” Now, while these are all great emotional rousing arguments, they have flaws. One, America was founded on LEGAL Immigration, hence the reason we have Ellis Island. Two, the jobs you do are jobs that no one will do because you do it below minimum wage, the business owners are breaking the law and making a bundle of cash because you do it for a few bucks cheaper. Personally, I wouldn’t work for $4 an hour; I can’t afford to do that because I don’t want to live share a bedroom with twenty other people. Furthermore, I know people would do those jobs because I know people who have, I know people who work fast food, I know people who work as janitors and I know people who mow other peoples lawns, all American citizens. Three, if you want to help your family, I am absolutely fine with people who move here LEGALLY, maybe you should do that.

But beyond all the emotional rhetoric, here are some of the facts. California alone pays over $10 billion dollars each year for healthcare, schooling and incarceration of illegal aliens. That is about $1500 per household. Furthermore, our economy is losing $20 billion dollars that is being sent to the corrupt government of Mexico, a place that would be a terrific place to live; full or farmable land and resources along with tourism, however there is one of the most corrupt governments in the world there. (For example take a look at the Tlatelolco Massacre where hundreds of students were killed with machine guns.) But beyond the corrupt government, there is a nice place to live, and the illegal aliens want to live there, they are only here to drain our economy then move back; hence the work Aliens.

Furthermore, 17% of all inmates in federal prison are illegal, and in 2004 illegals accounted for 95% of all outstanding homicide warrants in LA and two-thirds of all un-served felony warrants. Illegal Aliens have an enormous crime base, and make up plenty of the gang members in America.

Now on the flipside, 62% of illegals pay income tax and 66% do contribute to social security. Further more, only 56% of the total number of immigrants came from Mexico; however much of that 44% came from through Mexico from Central America, ironically it is a felony to be in Mexico illegally (apparently the Mexican government likes American money coming to them only.) Also 1/5 of all Mexican-born people live in the USA. And of the 11 to 12 millions illegal immigrants in America, two-thirds or 8 million have arrived in the last 10 years.

So here’s my idea. Congress wants to reward the Illegal Aliens who have lived here the longest by allowing them to stay. Honestly, that is incredibly retarded; we should not reward the criminals who have been breaking the law the longest. I say, if you have been paying taxes you will be aloud to apply for citizenship or a green card (I am being VERY lenient here). If you haven’t been paying taxes, you are gone. Then we build a wall, not a fence, but a wall that rivals the Great Wall of China. (Don’t worry; the $10 billion dollars we were spending should be able to pay for it.) We make being here illegally a felony. We encourage Mexico to reform its corruption. And we, along with the politicians should stop even caring about the illegal alien protests, they don’t vote and if you are not an American citizen you don’t have a say on American laws. Finally, we defiantly, absolutely should put it law that English is the national language, it’s getting to the point where I cant ever order a Big Mac without breaking out my high school Spanish book.

Beyond economics and laws, here is a quote that I found that, being from Southern California, made me smile, “As far as I’m concerned, anyone who comes here and makes the effort to become an American, and to subscribe to our ideals and values, is welcome. Those who prefer to maintain their primary allegiance to another country need to go back to that country, rather than trying to make mine a mirror image of the Third World hellhole they hated so much that they risked their lives to flee it.” - Dale Franks.

I got lots of my facts from AlphaPatriot.com.

Artistic view of Death and Taxes

Written by Jon on March 18, 2006 – 10:20 pm

Death and Taxes ArtworkA great piece of art, the real look at American taxes. This is a great visual look at how much our government spends. I’m not surprised at the military spending, that is to be expected during a war, and after 911. It is much more disgusting how much our country spends on entitlements, so take a look.
