A great piece of art, the real look at American taxes. This is a great visual look at how much our government spends. I’m not surprised at the military spending, that is to be expected during a war, and after 911. It is much more disgusting how much our country spends on entitlements, so take a look.

After writing on impeaching some pathetic democrats, I found a good republican to pick on. Congressmen Bill Thomas, chairman of the Ways and Means committee, announced today that he will not seek reelection. He’s been in Congress since 1979, that’s 27 years, plus the 10 he served as a California Assembly member. That’s 37 years of fat-catting around the country on his high horse.
Here’s a good quote, fairly insightful to how lost our leaders are:
“On Monday, he said he was inspired to retire by the example of former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax, who Thomas said retired at the top of his game.” SFGate.com
We’ll since for some odd reason, even with our stupid Freak O’ the Week column we run, I don’t know why all of the “Impeachment” ads come up on our website. So I put together a voters guide.
The get the idiots out of office!
Let’s VOTE OUT the OLD TIMERS!!!

The Christian Science Monitor reported today that the majority of troops polled showed a desire to withdraw from Iraq within a year. While at first glance this article may be surprising, as always you must look at it with slowly. First off, look at the sourse: The Christian Science Monitor- a anti-war forerunner. Even more biased is the poll which was funded by Le Moyne College’s Center for Peace and Global Studies. Just look at the name and tell me that isnt biased. Furthermore, Le Moyne College’s Center for Peace and Global Studies recieved its money for the project from an anonymous anti-war activist. This article reaks of bias, and despite how polls make look offical, you can make a poll say whatever you want by asking the right question. To contrast this, my personal experience with talking to soldiers, they all take the same position I expect. They don’t want to be there, they hate it, but they know why they are there.
I must point out, even if it were true, I wouldnt care. Marines are called Jarheads for a reason; they arent payed to think.

Is Civil Disobedience a crime? I would argue that when masses of citizens use non-violent actions of civil disobedience against government, it isn’t a crime. Martin Luther King did this well and he changed the course of history. However, when a few zealots enter military bases, they are breaking the law.
Here is an article trying to spin realty, saying that breaking the law is alright, and I think it’s just wrong. Green Peace broke the law.
“Is painting an anti-war message on the stern of a military supply vessel a crime?”
“all entered an RAF base at Fairford and attempted to immobilise B52 bombers”
” Marchwood Military Port and occupied tanks, locking themselves with chains and padlocks.”

Well, after my last post I decided that I would visit Green Peace to see what they where all about. Here what I found, a commercial about using Giant Condoms to clean up our air. I took a screen shot and even made a link to this dumb commercial.

This is a funny story I found at the Weekly James, it’s old but good. Green Peace does it again, they look stupid. No wonder nobody gives Green Peace any credit, their crazy.
Greenpeace activist Mikey Rosato hangs in protest from the bow of the guided missile frigate HMAS Sydney.
A high-speed rubber dinghy managed to act as a decoy to police boats while another dinghy pulled alongside the bows of the frigate as it cruised towards the heads.
One of the protesters, dressed in climbing gear, managed to attach some form of clamp to the side of the warship and rappel himself up.
As he dangled off the side of the ship, the dinghy pulled away, leaving police with the task of fathoming out how to get him off.
While on the bow, he displayed a Greenpeace anti-war banner. - SMH.com.au

This is pathetic, we can’t seem to kill anyone in this state (California). I am not surprised this happened, our state is so screwed up, so liberal, so sad. Now, let me say, I’m not really in favor of the death penalty, but when a state can’t administer a punishment, some 20 years after the crime, why should we have capital punishment?
I say until people get guillotined right after the trial, we should end all capital punishment in this country. It just doesn’t make any sense.
SAN QUENTIN, CALIF. - The state on Tuesday postponed indefinitely the execution of a condemned killer amid a court battle over the state’s method of injection and the role doctors may play in the death chamber. - Chron.com

This blog will probably get me into trouble, I feel as if I am crossing the line while I write it, but I must put my theory out there to be heard. Jill Carroll, a freelance reporter for the Christian Science Monitor, was kidnapped on January 7th and has since made three videos calling for the release of all women prisonors held in Iraq. Each video release has also set a deadline to release the women prisonors before they kill Carroll. Of course, the two first deadlines have passed. That brings me to my hopeful theory: The terrorists are just bluffing and Carroll will eventually be released. I really hope that is the case. However, I also have a less flattering theory: I think she might be faking it. There are a few things that stirred this questioning. She works for the Christian Science Monitor, a pacifist news magazine. Beyond that, I question the whole situation: Why are these terrorists, who capture hostages and only negotiate for the release of the hostage if their country withdraws from Iraq, suddenly asking for the release of women? Why have these terrorists been so obviously bad at bluffing? Why have we never heard of this specific terrorist group, the “Brigades of Vengeance,” until this capture? Why has Carroll been wearing different clothes in every video, and appearing in good health? Why are these clothes making her resemble the the anti-American Al Jazeera reporters? Things are just not adding up. I hope I’m wrong but this whole terrorist situation just seems so fake and out of the ordinary. But in all honesty, I really hope the terrorists are just bluffing and will let her go.

I’m just waiting for Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson to say what the Philippines did to deserve the wrath of God. It’s sad that two of the most powerful evangelical Christians in America are those two. The mudslides, just like the tsunami, Katrina, and 9/11 are horrible tragedies, not divine punishment. Maybe somebody needs to read some Job, or Ecclesiastes.
…the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11
Time and Chance.
Here are some “brilliant” quotes.
