Well - Clemems seems like a better person, he isn’t a huge asshole, but at the end of the day he is sitting on the same side of the bench as Barry Bonds.

This last week was a disaster for Roger Clemens. His trial (i mean hearing) did not go well for him. So now is there really any reason not to believe a washed up cop/trainer who has turn informant on several of baseballs top players. Clemens did not provide any proof of his accusser being wrong, he just denied or did not recall all of the accusations. The dagger in the back for Clemens is his best friend Andy Petite confirming that Roger Clemens told him (Andy Petite) that he used what it is he is being accused of.
I do not know about you, but Jon of Epic Guide is my close freind and I usually do not lie to him. Plus if we both had the ability to pitch professionally and one of us one doing something to gain an advantage that at the time was not banned by the proffession, I would think we would have no reason to lie. Clearly Clemens is drawing at straws and is fighting to save his name. Just like Pete Rose, Clemens will now forever be remembered for what he fought and not what he did on the field. If Pete Rose would have admitted he cheated his legacy would most likely be considerable different. Same for Roger Clemens, and for that matter Barry Bonds. We all think they took performance enhancing drugs, their bodies appear to show affects of performance enhancement drugs, yet they vigoursly deny it. If they would have admitted fault early on America would have most likely forgiven and moved on. Now it is to late and they will be remembered for their arrogance of their lies.
